BERNA DOLORES SCHLOSSER

Berna peacefully passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at age 94 at Holy Family Home in Winnipeg.

Left to survive Berna are her Sister Bernice (Wayne) Pierrepont, daughters Dolores (David) Koop, Nancy Fraser; grandchildren Alyssa (Brian), Erin (Andrew), Lyndon, Lindsay and great grandchildren Arabella, Zanna, Obadiah, and Zachary

Berna was predeceased by her husband Oskar Schlosser (1978); sons Martin (2012) and Randolph (2018); her parents Carman and Sara Metcalfe and three siblings, Ronald, Kenneth and Shirley.

Berna was  born in the Village of Bowsman, MB and was a true country girl. She was raised in the Swan River Valley area, she enjoyed the simple life, her farm, flowers and gardens. Berna married Oskar and moved to Winnipeg to raise their family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, friend and kind soul to all. Berna could beat anyone at a game of cribbage even in her final days. Her gentle spirit and love of the Lord was evident in her daily life until she was finally called to her heavenly home after 94 years.

A family memorial will take place at a later date
