BARRY BONWICK

Peacefully, with his family by his side, Barry passed away at the Health Science Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Wednesday February 24, 2021.

Barry is lovingly remembered by his wife of 39 years, Randi; daughter, Melissa (Karllon); son, Christopher (Rose), mother-in-law, Isabell, seven siblings and their families, three brothers-in-law and their families as well as many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, his father-in-law and oldest brother.

Barry’s family always came first for him. He loved being out in the country working on vehicles and building things, watching wildlife and spending time with his pets. In his day to day life he enjoyed sharing his hope for the future with others. He was a hard worker who always liked to be busy doing something.  He enjoyed his work and most of his working years were spent caring for children or truck driving.

He was known for being very generous and hospitable. He lived by the words found at Proverbs 3:27, 28 which say “Do not withhold good from those to whom you should give it if it is within your power to help. Do not say to your neighbor, ‘Go away; come back later! I will give it to you tomorrow,’ if you can give it now.”

Barry believed what the Bible says at Job 14:14, 15 “If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service until my relief comes. You will call, and I will answer you.”  Barry looked forward to a time when all on earth would live with perfect health forever as God originally purposed.
