Anna was born in Budapest Hungary and immigrated to Winnipeg Canada in 1952 with her husband and childhood sweetheart along with their son and daughter. Winnipeg then became their new home.

Mom was a devout Catholic who faithfully attended Christ the King Parish as long as she was able. She was very musically talented and loved to play her home organ. Mom was an excellent cook, enjoyed sewing and singing her favourite song Edelweiss in both English and German. Mom and Dad were very good parents and made every effort to provide a good life for their family.
