ALBERT ALFRED MASSEY

On Monday, March 8, 2021 Albert Alfred Massey passed away at the age of 84, leaving his loving wife Norma, three children Lillian, Brendan (Debbie), Colin (Deanna) and granddaughter Erin. Also mourning his loss are two step children, Cheryl (Gerald), Greg, granddaughter Tricia (Josh) and great granddaughter Aubree, one brother Dan (Mary) and one sister Margaret, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Albert was predeceased by his father and mother, Thomas and Marie Rose Alberta Massey, brother Patrick and sisters Laura, Florence and Sadie.

Albert spent 30 years with the Air Force moving to various places with his first wife Liliane (deceased) and family. He then settled down in Winnipeg where he met his second wife Norma while working at Deer Lodge Hospital for many years.

For the last five years Albert’s health started failing and he could no longer take long walks, which he really enjoyed. He was a joy to look after, never too demanding or complaining, resigned to taking life at a slower pace of watching television and being on his iPad. He will be missed terribly.

A private family service will be held on Thursday, tentatively.
