Such sad news of Violet passing away. Just found out yesterday. I knew Violet through common friends, and stayed in contact with her over the years. We would see each other every other month, for a “Birthday group” gathering of about seven of us . It was only in this last year that our group did not meet because of the restrictions due to Covid. Violet was the quiet one in the group, but truly enjoyed getting together. She loved sandwiches, and often took a few extras back home with her. Violet was a gentle soul, and never said a harsh or critical word about anyone . She was more of a “one on one“ person, and would chat more once you were alone with her. She liked to get her nails done and was always pleased when her hair was looking nice and she felt “dressed up“ and looking her best! She had a gentle smile, and a kind heart. There were a few occasions when we met her sons, Michael and Cameron. We give you our sincere sympathies in the loss of your mother. We will miss her!
