PAULINE FRANCES EBBERS

With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Pauline Frances Ebbers after a short battle with Cancer at Grace Hospital on June 2, 2025 at the age of 64.

Pauline was a long-term resident of Winnipeg, residing at St Amant, Qu’appelle Housing Project, Luther Home and Deer Lodge Centre who catered to her needs having been born with Cerebral Palsy.

Pauline is survived by parents William (Bill) and Wilhelmina (Maria) Ebbers; sisters Jennifer (Pete) and Joanne; brothers Rick (Priscilla), Rob, James and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

In her early days Pauline competed as a Special Olympics Swimmer, was a Loyal Season Ticket Bomber Fan and Avid Crib Player.

A Come and Go Sharing Service will be held at Deer Lodge for family, close friends and people that made an impact on Pauline’s life.

She Is Gone

You can shed tears that she is gone, Or you can smile because she has lived

You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back, Or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left

Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her, Or you can be full of the love that you shared

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday

You can remember her and only that she is gone, Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on 

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, Or you can do what she would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
