LINDA VIOLA ERICKSON

On October 11, 2025 at age 76, Linda Viola Erickson passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Cheryl (Wally); her son, Dan; her grandchildren, Teri, Alexis, Xable, and Jordan; and her great-grandchildren, Kayden, Aurora, and Milani. She is also survived by her siblings, Lorna, Florence (Tom), Harry (Pat), Eileen (Don), and Marlene (Campbell); and many relatives, in-laws, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl; her parents, Hugo and Linnea Granberg; her in-laws, Sigudur and Luella Erickson; her brother, Gunnar; and her brother-in-law, Roy.

Linda was a loving and generous woman, always willing to lend an ear, offer advice, and help her family and friends. She was creative, known for beautifully decorated birthday & wedding cakes. As a young mother, she earned her CGA designation and worked for the Federal Government to support her family.

After retirement, Linda and Carl built their dream cottage at Lundar Beach, where they enjoyed many summers camping and spending time with family.

A celebration of Linda and Carl’s lives will be held later this spring. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the wonderful home care staff, nurses, and doctors who cared for Linda at home.
