Judith Margaret Gutoski
(nee Burkett)
May 22,1948 – April 27,2025

It is with profound sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Judy Gutoski (nee Burkett) on April 27,2025 at the age of 76.

Judy will be dearly missed by her husband of 56 years Wayne, her daughter Kathy and son-in-law Myron, her son Kris and daughter-in-law Laurie as well as her beloved
grandchildren Landon, Bailey and Connor. She is survived by her brothers Roy (Lois) and Herb, her sisters Patty (Greg) and Heather (Gordie); brother-in-law Russell and step-sister Ronalee (Juergen. She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Roy and Edith and her sister Jo-Anne.

Judy was born and raised in Winnipeg. She grew up in the West End across the street from the boy who would one day become her husband. She attended Tec Voc High
School where she excelled in track. An avid Blue Bomber and Jets fan she could always be found cheering on her team. Her love for sports and family will always be remembered as she spent countless hours watching her children and grandchildren play their numerous sports year-round.

Judy worked 30 plus years at Sears, volunteering as a Sunday School teacher with the Salvation Army all while lovingly raising her family. In her retired years she travelled with her husband Wayne, enjoyed activities with her grandchildren and spent many afternoons and evenings playing bingo with her sisters and friends.

As per Judy’s wishes no funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice. We thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

Judy will forever be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
