Chris was the glue that kept things together while made efforts to keep in touch when everyone was coming in from out of town. He was incredibly thoughtful and would reach out to let our side of the family know what was going on in Winnipeg. He made time for lake visits and was excited to come out to celebrate reconnecting, even when it resulted in stitches 30 minutes into the trip on a long weekend from a freak seadoo mishap. He was also the first to step in to help others, jumping at a chance to put half an IKEA kitchen in the back of his car when I bought way more than my SUV could manage. He loved his brothers & their families, parents and extended family and I will miss visiting with him each July. He was the kind of guy you hope your kids would turn out like and the kind of family member you could always count on. We were lucky to call Chris family, and I am so sorry we won’t have many more years with him. Sending prayers and love to Nancy, Ted, his brothers and Nikki.
